We present a new service on the online payment market – Visa Mobile. It is currently available to Nest Bank customers. Visa Mobile is a new quality of paying online using a mobile application. Just enter your phone number at the final stage of the purchase process and authorise the payment on your smartphone.
About Visa Mobile
The new service from Visa allows you to quickly and conveniently pay for online orders (in online stores or mobile applications). When using Visa Mobile, you do not need to enter your full card details or log in to online banking. In some simplification, it can be said that it will be a payment with ... a telephone number.
Przelewy24 is the world's first payment service provider to support Visa Mobile, and its experts have been involved in the implementation of the application from the very beginning. Selected Nest Bank customers could already try Visa Mobile in September 2021, when the bank launched the service as part of a pilot program. From 16 May 2022, all Nest Bank customers can use Visa Mobile.

The global card operator is working to enable Visa Mobile payment in thousands of stores in Poland and around the world – in two ways.
– From the beginning of the works, we assumed that a separate Visa Mobile application and the Visa Mobile solution as part of the banking application can operate on the market in parallel. We want banks to be able to offer consumers the most convenient solution, whether it is the Visa Mobile application or the bank's own application. I believe that Visa Mobile will add value to banking applications. However, some banks and their customers may prefer a separate Visa Mobile application that will only be used for authorising transactions – says Adrian Kurowski, Visa Director in Poland.
Visa Mobile – security first
Visa Mobile payments are as secure as any other Visa card payment. The solution was based on the Click to Pay Visa service, which has been present in Poland for nearly two years. Moreover, if necessary, the customer has the right to use the chargeback scheme.
Each time the customer authorises payment on their mobile device protected by a password, pin or biometric technology (if available on their device), so he is the only person authorising transactions. In consequence, Visa Mobile will not be used by any third party who knows the phone number linked to the service.
