E-business Women Foundation has prepared a study on the growing trend in online sales – the so-called social commerce and live commerce. Przelewy24 is a report partner.

"The power of social & live commerce" report includes interesting data on shopping behaviour on social media. The sellers' perspective was also analysed. Jacek Kinecki, Przelewy24 CCO, provided commentary to the report.

Social commerce (i.e. trading on social media):

  • 27% of study participants made purchases via social media,
  • 18% of study participants made sales transactions on social media.

Live commerce (purchases made during live streams on social media):

  • 25% of Poles made a purchase while watching a live stream on social media,
  • 10% declare that they often buy in this way.

The report shows that the preferred means of payment for both buyers (70%) and sellers (51%) on social media are cashless payments.
