The upcoming holiday season is a time of increased social engagement. In this spirit, the Przelewy24 team, together with colleagues from Polskie ePłatności and the Donateo Foundation, undertook the mission of collecting and packing gifts for the charges of the Gajusz Foundation, which operates the “Palace” Inpatient Hospice in Łódź.
This joint initiative is an expression of deep corporate social responsibility (CSR) and proof that companies from the Nexi Group are capable of effectively joining forces for a noble cause.
The Gajusz Foundation provides care for terminally ill children and their families. The “Palace” Hospice is their inpatient facility, renowned for its professionalism and extraordinary compassion. The staff refer to their young patients as Princes and Princesses, ensuring that every moment of their lives is filled with warmth and dignity.
“We care about the quality of minutes, days, sometimes months,” emphasize the caregivers at the Palace.
Daily life at the hospice is a battle with illness, but also a time filled with fairy tales, touch, and love provided by devoted Aunts and Uncles.
The Value of Working Together
The initiative of collecting and packing gifts is just one element of the support that the companies provide to the Foundation. For Przelewy24, involvement in helping children in the hospice is particularly important.
Dorota Bachman, Marketing and Communications Director at Przelewy24, comments: “At Przelewy24, we know how important speed and efficiency are in business, but we also believe that empathy and the ability to stop and see those in need are just as crucial. Supporting the Gajusz Foundation is a privilege for us and a clear sign that our responsibility goes far beyond finance. We are happy we could do this together with Polskie ePłatności and the Donateo Foundation.”
