Polskie ePłatności and Przelewy24 Join Forces. The Largest Payment Ecosystem in Poland is Emerging

Polskie ePłatności (PeP) and Przelewy24 (P24) have announced strategic changes. Starting from January 2026, both companies will adopt a unified management and organizational structure aimed at accelerating the integration of offline and online solutions and creating the largest cohesive payment ecosystem in Poland.

Founded in 2010, Polskie ePłatności is the second-largest payment terminal operator in Poland. By the end of 2025, the number of terminals processed by PeP exceeded 284 thousand. Meanwhile, Przelewy24 is the leader of payments in Polish e-commerce. It also offers comprehensive solutions for cross-border transactions. Together, the two companies already handle 30% of all cashless transactions in Poland, processing up to 11 million transactions daily. Both PeP and Przelewy24 are part of the Italian Nexi Group, the European leader in payments.

Changes in Management Boards

Maciej Nowosielski, the current president of Polskie ePłatności and chairman of the supervisory board of Przelewy24, has assumed the position of CEO of Przelewy24 (P24).

“The market is changing very dynamically. It’s no secret that utilizing the potential behind both companies gives us even greater opportunities to grow our clients’ businesses and our own. Each company holds a strong position in the SME sector as well as among large retail chains, creating a full range of client bases and becoming the key factor in the context of the Polish market,” says Nowosielski.
