The consolidation of Przelewy24 and Dotpay is complete - since 26 Oct. 2023, the transaction service has been carried out by Przelewy24. At the last stage of the integration, the accounts of key Partners previously using the services of Dotpay we migrated.
The integration of Przelewy24 and Dotpay began in 2020 as a result of inclusion of Przelewy24, Dotpay and eCard into the structure of the Danish group Nets (currently part of Nexi Group with its registered seat in Milan). In April 2021, the first stage of the merger of Przelewy24 and Dotpay including the formal issues relating to the consolidation was concluded. Ever since that moment, the Partners of Dotpay have been serviced by PayPro SA.
At the last stage of the process, Sellers’ accounts were migrated from Dotpay platform to Przelewy24. - The change of a payment operator requires reintegration on the part of the Seller. In case of the integration of Dotpay and Przelewy24, we designed the migration in a way that required least effort on the part of our Partners. Given the number of the accounts migrated as well as the individual solutions we deliver, the whole process was a challenge and it was conducted on an unprecedented scale - says Michał Bzowy, Deputy President of the Board of PayPro SA, Chief Information Officer of Przelewy24.
- The aim of the integration was to ensure top quality service for all Partners of PayPro SA as well as to standardise the services offered. The conclusion of the integration process means that Dotpay, a brand created in 2001, is about to disappear from the market - says Jacek Kinecki, President of the Board of PayPro SA, CEO of Przelewy24.
PayPro would like to remind the Partners to update the information regarding the payment operator on their websites and in any and all materials directed to consumers.
