How Poles change the world, adding "penny to penny"?

Did you know that everyday shopping can become an opportunity to do good? The Donateo Foundation report "#PowerOfGoodGestures – the power of microdonations in Poland" reveals that as many as 77% of Poles have encountered the possibility of supporting charities through microdonations. What's more, half of them actually took advantage of this opportunity! This shows that small amounts, donated during shopping, have the real power to change the world.

Poles and charity – a surprisingly positive picture

The Donateo Foundation report paints an optimistic picture of Polish society. It turns out that as many as 54% of us are actively involved in charitable activities, and 20% consider helping their duty. Interestingly, young people aged 18-24 are particularly open to helping – as many as 74% of them regularly support those in need.

What motivates us to help?

The main motivator is compassion – as indicated by as many as 60% of respondents. Most often we support sick children, victims of crises and animals. The report emphasizes that Poles want to help and are willing to do so at every possible opportunity.

Microdonations – the future of corporate social responsibility (CSR)

Companies that enable their customers to make microdonations not only gain in terms of image, but above all become part of positive social changes. Consumers increasingly choose brands that are involved in charity.
