Read the latest study on the e-commerce industry in Poland, prepared by the research company Gemius.
The "E-commerce in Poland 2021" report contains the most recent data on online store customers. The data were collected in May and June 2021, i.e. after the changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The respondents answered questions about the most popular product categories, favourite delivery methods or preferred online payment methods.
The authors of the report also looked at the latest trends in e-commerce, such as reverse ROPO, or a further increase in interest in shopping on mobile devices.
What does the Gemius report show?
As many as 77% of Polish internet users buy online.
- Almost 1/3 of the respondents order more products online now than before the pandemic.
- 76% of the surveyed e-shoppers make purchases using smartphones.
- Fast transfers through a payment service remain the most frequently chosen payment method.
