What to Expect at PHPers Day 2025?

PHPers Day 2025 is an event focused on various aspects of PHP development. The thematic scope covers key topics for every developer. Attendees will have the opportunity to delve into subjects related to architecture and design patterns, from discovering architecture in legacy projects, through crossing the boundaries of bounded contexts, to modular approaches in the context of monoliths, moduliths, and microservices. There will also be presentations on code quality and testing, including writing effective tests, using static code analysis (e.g., PHPStan), and comparing PHP with other languages in terms of error handling.

A significant part of the conference will also be dedicated to the development process and tools, where topics such as using CI/CD to enhance application security, creating portable PHP pipelines with Dagger, PHP in a serverless environment (AWS Lambda, Bref), and unlocking multithreading in PHP will be discussed. The conference will also touch upon new technologies and integrations, including the use of LLM (AI) models in business logic. The event will be rounded off with sessions dedicated to the community and experiences, including a panel discussion on handling emergencies and career lessons learned.

Tomasz Lipert's Presentation: PHP Application Security with CI/CD

We invite you to attend the presentation by Tomasz Lipert, Head of Security at Przelewy24, which starts at 12:35 PM. His talk, titled "Let a robust CI/CD take care of your PHP application's security," will focus on the effective use of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment processes to enhance application security.

Tomasz Lipert will demonstrate which components can be included in the CI/CD pipeline to test an application for security vulnerabilities before it goes into production. The presentation will cover tools and methods used daily at Przelewy24, including:
